These terms and conditions outline the rules applicable to the use of the website www.checkindesign.com and to the booking of our furnished apartments in Paris. By accessing this website and/or making a booking, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

1. About Us

Check In Design is a short-term rental management company operating furnished apartments in Paris, France. Contact: checkindesign6@gmail.com.

2. Bookings & Payment

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or the required deposit, as indicated at the time of booking. Rates include the rental of the apartment for the selected dates, as well as standard cleaning and linen, unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation Policy

Standard rate: Free cancellation up to 5 days before arrival. Cancellations made less than 5 days before check-in are non-refundable.

Non-refundable rate: Depending on the period, a discounted non-refundable rate may be offered. Bookings made under this rate cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.

The applicable policy is always displayed at the time of booking.

4. Security Deposit

For certain apartments (notably our Saint-Mandé property), a security deposit of €500 is required before arrival, via a secure pre-authorization (no amount is debited). The deposit is released after check-out, subject to inspection of the apartment. Any damage, missing items or additional cleaning costs will be deducted from

5. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM at the latest, unless a paid early check-in / late check-out option has been purchased at the time of booking or before arrival. Self check-in instructions are sent before your stay.

An arrival form is systematically sent for each booking: it must be completed before check-in, for organizational purposes and to comply with French regulations. A valid ID may be requested at this stage.

6. House Rules

• The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking, otherwise an additional charge will apply

• Parties and events are strictly prohibited

• All our apartments are non-smoking

• Pets are not allowed unless expressly authorized in writing beforehand

7. Guest Liability

The guest is responsible for the apartment throughout the entire stay. Any damage caused to the property, furniture or equipment will be charged to the guest, upon presentation of supporting evidence (photos, invoices).

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Check In Design owns the intellectual property rights for all content on this website (texts, photos, logo). Any reproduction, republication or redistribution without prior written permission is prohibited.

9. Liability

Check In Design does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information on this website. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability in the event of death, personal injury or fraud.

10. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer may have free recourse to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of any dispute with Check In Design. The contact details of the competent mediator are available upon request at checkindesign6@gmail.com.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
